In Achilles Heel, we offer a variety of courses, these courses prepare you incase of a medical emergency.  The courses are preformed at the school upon request of the course.

 

EpiPen:

What it is:

Preloaded auto injector of epinephrine (adrenaline)

This course helps in case of an allergic reaction,

after taking this course,

you'll know how to react incase of an Allergic reaction

and how to use an EpiPen if needed.

Basic CPR 

What it is:

It is a life saving procedure that is

performed when the heart stops beating,

it is designed to keep oxygen and blood

flowing to vital organs in the human body 

until medical services arrive. 

This course helps you learn the 

basic skills of how to preform

CPR incase needed.

Choking First Aid

What it is:

It is a procedure that is done when someone is 

choking due to a blocked airway.

This course helps you identify  the signs

of choking and helps you apply the techniques 

such as the Heimlich maneuver. 

first aid kit

What is it:

A first aid kit is a collection of equipment 

that is meant to treat people 

immediately when they where just injured. 

A first aid kit contains a lot off stuff including: 

Sterile gauze pads, Burn gel, Thermometers, Painkillers and more.

We want to teach people what these

martials are and how they can use every

items. 

 

 

Disinfecting an open wound

When you get a large open wound

you will have to disinfect it because if 

you don't this can lead to

infections, blood poisoning because of 

bacteria and more. 

This course will  teach people what they

can use to disinfect their wounds and 

what they can use.

           Handling an overdose

It might happen to you or your 

friends. Overdosing can happens with

all kinds of drugs and some need to be 

treaded different than others.

For example when someone you know 

gets an overdose of alcohol, you need to stay

calm, put the person on his/her side 

and contact authorities. For other

drugs you might just need an injection.
